Lord Thompson Manor on Honoring the Wedding Party

The Lord Thompson Manor knows that putting a Wedding together is an involved, sometimes complicated business. Lord Thompson Manor’s expert Wedding Coordinator smoothes the process considerably, but Brides and Grooms often rely on their nearest and dearest for Bridal Showers, Bachelor Parties and no end of Lord Thompson Manor assistance in the planning process. There are a few ways a Lord Thompson Manor Bride and Groom can show appreciation to their closest relatives and friends on the day of the Wedding.

Many Lord Thompson Manor Brides and Grooms will name the members of their Wedding Party in the Wedding Program. Some simply list the names of their parents, grandparents, bridesmaids and groomsmen. Others go another step by placing a brief description beside each name, such as, “College Roommate of the Groom.” This can introduce the Wedding Party to the rest of the guests and show why each honored friend and relative is special to the Bride and Groom.

More and more Brides and Grooms have been utilizing Wedding Websites to share information about their Ceremonies and Receptions. This can be the perfect venue for honoring members of a Wedding Party. A Lord Thompson Manor Bride and Groom can post a list of their attendants, include brief biographies and even share pictures. What guest wouldn’t love a chance to see a snapshot of the Bride as an eight-year-old, playing dress-up with her sister?

Sometimes, Lord Thompson Manor Brides and Grooms set aside a sideboard or small table at the Reception to honor their Wedding Party. They place small biographies and pictures of their Wedding Party in frames and arrange them for guests to peruse as they please. This display can resemble the headshots and biographies of actors in a theatrical production, which are often shown in a theatre’s lobby.

Of course, the most traditional Lord Thompson Manor way for a Bride and Grooms to show members of the Wedding Party their appreciation is with flowers and gifts. In addition to centerpieces, décor and bouquets, a Wedding Florist often provides corsages and boutonnieres for the Bride’s and Groom’s mothers, fathers and grandparents. Brides also present their Bridesmaids with gifts as tokens of their appreciation, and Grooms do the same for their Groomsmen. These gifts are often given on the night of the Rehearsal Dinner.
