Different sectors have their own definition of art. They have various standards too. For a mother, the drawings of her children are works of art. For museums, art is the genuine creation of a significant artist in the past.

Just like its definition, its significance also varies. There are various forms of art today, and each is important to the artist involved. A good example is a musician. Music is a good example of art. That is why singers are called artists. For a songwriter, each song has a story that he wants the people to hear. For most writers, this is very personal.

For various artists, art is way of expressing themselves. You may have seen an abstract oil painting, although you cannot recognize the patterns and strokes of the artists, it is very important for the painter. For him, it represents his emotion and his character. It can symbolize his anger and frustration. However, it can also represent his love and compassion. Anyone who sees it can also use it to represent how they feel. Strokes and colors can evoke certain emotions from other people. This is why most people want to buy pieces of artwork.

For others, it represents their dreams. The television today has produced several competitions that opened the doors for various dreamers. There are dancers across the country who lined up to audition because all their life they wanted to dance in front of an audience who appreciates what they can do. Many have gone to school to enhance their skills so that they can be among the best dancers in the world.

Like music, dancing is a form of art that can evoke various feelings. Aside from love, dances can also evoke sensuality, excitement, fun, passion, anger, and happiness. Art here is more than entertainment and talent. It is more of touching people lives through their moves and choreography.

Today, art also symbolizes comfort. You can see art in many beautiful and comfortable homes. Interior designers are also artists in many ways. They match things to provide a wonderful space for their client. Seeing the overwhelming reactions of their clients gives them satisfaction. To them, that is the most rewarding feeling.

There are very many people who get scared at the thought of poetry. It is what we eat and drink, the little sentences that are often neglected. When you wish to speak or write good poetry, there are several things that you need to know. First, you need to consider whether your heart is pure. You do not have to be an angel; however, you need to be sincere. False poetry is one that is not inspired from the heart by love. Therefore, it is not judged by the rhyming words but by the depth of those words. The next time you consider writing it, look deeper and take time, you will definitely impress your audience.

Paint the face as thickly white as you can get it, and then add accents in black or red only. Add some lines below the eyes or paint the lips red, or add high red spots on the cheeks; this is a great way to get a party full of clowns!

Can creativity be measured? No, I don’t think that creativity can be measured. There are no set rules that state who is and who isn’t creative. There is no standard of creativity in order to compare those who are creative to those who are not. Even if there was a standard, what would that be? I don’t think there even could be a standard for measuring creativity because everyone is creative in their own way. Who’s to say that one’s poem, unique drawing, or clay sculpture was not made creatively?

However, I do believe that there are people who take more advantage of their ability to be creative. Everyone has a creative side; some people just don’t really make an effort to express it. Everyone has their own ideas and ways of doing things. Some people’s ideas and ways of doing things change over time because they might grow as a person, become wiser, or learn new ways of doing things.

For that reason, I believe that creativity can be learned, but there is neither standard nor limit to the endless ways that one can express his or her own creativity. Some people’s creativity is more noticeable and liked by a large number of people, which is why they get recognition and credit for it. There are also people who are creative, but others just don’t really connect to their style. Whether you get recognized for your work or not, you have the ability to expand your creativity and measure your own growth according to how much you, as an individual, learned and achieved over a certain amount of time.

Everyone is different, and one person can never be compared to another. One person’s creativity, skill, and growth can never be compared to another’s because that would never be a fair comparison. Each individual should be judged by their own personal growth from one point of their lives to another because each person starts off from a different state in their life. That state could be a very bad state where the person is going through so much, and once they recover, they have grew more than a person who started off from a good state. A person starting off from a good state has more strength and time to achieve something and doesn’t grow as a person as much, whereas a person who has been through a lot has to overcome their difficulties, and as a result, they become wiser and grow more as a person.

In a nutshell, I don’t believe that creativity can be measured because everyone is just different. We all have different experiences, and we are exposed to different things in life that might affect our creativity. Creativity is just one of those things that can never be measured because no one would ever be able to come up with a standard that will satisfy everyone’s own personality, level, and genius.

Creativity is the process of formulating new ideas and concepts. It is also associated to finding the connection between these thoughts. Looking at creativity from a scientific perspective, creative process (which is also called divergent thought) are said to be original and appropriate.

Another alternative perception of creativity is the simple truth that it is the action of generating something new. It may seem to be quite simple but creativity entails complicated procedures. A closer look on the creativity of a person has derived points of view from various sciences such as social psychology, cognitive science, philosophy, economics, business, management, design research, history, artificial intelligence, psychometrics, behavioral psychology and art.

These conducted studies tackled daily creativity that are both considered to be exceptional and artificial. The difference of creative standpoints to other scientific phenomena is that there is no one definition or perspective of a person’s creativity. This is way different from psychology because it has no standardized gauge when it comes to technique.

Creativity is also associated to the cognitive process of divine intervention involving personality traits, chance and the social environment. Some people claim that creativity is a trait lucky individuals are born with but there are those who believe that it can be learned.

Creativity is often connotated to art and literature because it is essential to invention and innovation. Nonetheless, professions involving economics, industrial design, engineering, science, architecture and business invest in creativity.

Has the creativity in your writing flown to lands unknown and little visited? Do you long for the return of your muse and feel it has rejected your companionship citing lack of interest?

We’ve all had those moments when we can only seem to remember times when creativity flowed from our fingertips like proverbial milk and honey. Reasons for a Creativity Leak

1) You are spending too much time writing. When you cloister yourself away in an effort to maximize your writing there will come a time when the well runs dry. Everyone needs a little dose of “life” from which to draw creativity based in real life experience.

2) You are trying too hard. There are times when we work so strenuously to find the perfect phrase that we sap the strength from writing. Relax. The creativity will come. Simply write and worry about fixing things later.

3) You base your work on an unrealistic standard. Work at competing only with yourself. Don’t try to do something exactly the same way someone else has done them. Don’t expect the same results. You are a unique writer with unique gifts. Become comfortable with who you are as a writer and allow the creativity to return.

Creativity Restoration

1) Visit a location that has provided inspiration in the past or a location you have always admired for its beauty. Spend time simply enjoying the atmosphere.

2) Spend less time writing and more time with family and friends. Forget about writing for a season and reclaim a bit of life experience.

3) Concentrate on the little things around you. Spend some time on a park bench or in the mall just observing the people who cross your path. You may find characters for a story or wisdom in the interaction of people you meet.

4) Pressure Writing is a means of dumping all of your disjointed thoughts onto a page for future reference. When you unclutter your mind you may find that creativity has a greater chance of finding some room to set up shop once more.

There are obviously more ways to jumpstart your creativity, but the greatest point is you can only retrieve creativity from a life that is actually lived.

Cultivating your creativity is more than spending time with a hobby or performing and displaying your work. Cultivating your creativity takes time, awareness and deliberate action. Creativity like any other skill, needs to be nurtured and affirmed, as well as directed, in order to expand throughout your life. Creativity crosses all barriers,cultures,even when styles differ and philosophies change. Creativity never changes. It’s time to put away those past negative influences, including no more starving artist scenarios. Let’s explore what creativity really is.

REASON ONE: Creativity is born in movement, be it physical, intellectual, enmotional or spiritual or any combination thereof. When you perceive change going on in your life , some part of the creative process is on the move.

REASON TWO: Training yourself to create art regularly contributes significantly to making an idea work by exploring, expanding, building, performing or sharing it.

REASON THREE The creative process takes time. However, it can be structured and directed. You can finish your creative projects on or before your deadline.

REASON FOUR: Creativity stretches your comfort zone. Practicing a creative skill, takes time, concentrated effort and consistent work. I know that I feel angry as I progress through the first phrase of the creativity process. I struggle to admit that I need to practice, that I don’t know everything, that I don’t need help and that in spite of these thoughts, I can still make progress using my skills. I am not comfortable when I fail to meet my expectations. When I complete one creative project. I know that I’ve done a good job. My next challenge is to patiently repeat the first phase of mechanical learning for as long as it takes, to complete my next job. My reward is to become more comfortable using my creative skills ,over and over again.

REASON FIVE: Creativty is fun. I love looking at numerous possibilities. It’s wonderful to be able to freely interpret and produce a creative product.
